How could I get a voice number feature in a database segmented by dada.segment @voicewise 1.
If not yet an existing feature, that would be cool to have it

Hi Greg, that's true, it could be nice to have it, something like a @ftvoice attribute.
You also have a more direct way, though: assign names to voices (with @voicenames or double clicking at the left of the clef, or via the bach inspector), and they are passed through while segmenting. Then your final score retains its voice name that you can query via "dump voicenames" or something like that.
Does it make sense for your case?

Hi Greg, as a matter of fact it's already implemented, I didn't remember that
It's just undocumented in the help file for some reason, but it's in the object reference (I'll fix it).
You can simply set @ftvoice 1
