dada.segment no marker with measuresymdur

Post by Julien_Vincenot » Tue Apr 11, 2023 9:16 am

Hello !

A half-bug report, half curiosity question after noticing this behavior in dada.segment.

I remember years ago we talked a bit about obvious limitations of dada.segment
using markers as split points, especially for weird polymetric situations.

Here is almost the opposite scenario.
I do have a weird polymetric situation (from bach.score examples), but I'm just trying to segment it by measures with "measuresymdur".
Now everything "works as expected", i.e. segmented bars of different voices are shifted somehow, which I think is normal here.

BUT now the markers don't go through for some reason, even though they don't have any role here.
Any idea why?

Thanks !

Julien

PS: for some reason I can't attach the patch without zipping

True, I don't know why markers are dropped in that case. I'll look into it.
Thanks for notifying!
