[ANN] cage 0.4 released

Dear all,

along with the new bach 0.7.9 release, we have just released a new version of cage.
This fixes a few issues with the modules, adds some functionalities (e.g. markov chains) and assures compatibility with bach 0.7.9.
So: if you install the new cage, be sure you have installed the new bach. They go hand in hand! :)
As usual, have a look at the History.txt file to know more.

Have fun,
Daniele

Hi,

I would like to report that I've just tried to install cage via the Package Manager but the result was version 0.3.1 was installed. I'm doing it manually, now.

Best,
Pedro

That is super weird, I'm pretty sure 0.4 was on PM at some point.
Gotta check with cycling...
Use standard download page for the time being.

A couple of things I noticed, after doing the manual install: cage.overview says "0.3.5 beta" and cage.stretch (mentioned in "_History.txt") is a "No such object".

Hi, the 0.3.5 must be a mistake, sorry.
As for the stretch module, the correct name is [cage.timestretch].
You should have it.

I'm just wondering if there is any further word about Cage 0.4 being on the Package Manager? I have only seen 3.9 there. I have installed 0.4 manually, but the PM keeps telling me I have a conflicting version, even though I deleted 0.3.9.

Thanks,
Tim

Sorry, long time no check here :)
this should be fixed on the PM. Though you might be now willing to check out the 0.5 release (only from our website, waiting to collect bugs before going on PM).
