Hi there!
I'm somehow struggling with automating the loop-region in the cage.granulate.
I can control the movement of the loop-region in the bach.roll with a line-object (to imitate the reading of the score), but the selected notes of the loop are not sent to the cage.granulate.
I use the message [loop 1000 2000] to set the position of the loop-region. What else is necessary to tell the roll to send this information to the cage.granulate?
Thanks!
H

Re: LOOP in cage.granulate
Hello, I'm not sure I understand the issue. Can you send me a minimal patch?
In any case there's no "loop" message for cage.granulate, but you should send the start/end of the loop in the last inlet (see help file, with [route list])
Best,
d

Re: LOOP in cage.granulate
Hello, the first issue I see is that dump loop outputs the loop from the first outlet, so it's up to you to dispatch it to the last inlet of cage granulate.
If you put a [bach.keys null loop @maxdepth 2 @out mn] after the first outlet, you'll be able to send the null outlet of bach.keys to the second inlet of cage.granulate, and the loop outlet of bach.keys to the [route symbol].
That works for me...

PS. as for the format, it's usually handier to copy in compressed form (edit > copy compressed), although in your case that could have been a lot of text...
