I followed the instructions in the 'editor' tab of the bach.eval help file, but after installing bach Atom language package and configuring to use external editor, double-click on bach.eval does not open its code in an Atom editor, and indeed does not open an editor of any kind. The screen sort of flashes for a second, and then nothing happens, no editor window appears. If I clear the atom cache folder, then bach.eval loads internal Max editor as normal.
Can any Windows users confirm this issue?
Atom external editor not working on Windows
Re: Atom external editor not working on Windows
Solved! It was an issue with the hidden help file subpatcher not inputting necessary slashes in file path to Atom.

Hi,
that should be an issue with Max (specifically, the [gestalt] object), not bach, and should be fixed as of Max 8.1.4. What version of Max are you using?
Thanks,
andrea
