onset of a note affects onset of all notes of its chord

Post by PyoungRyang Ko » Thu Aug 27, 2020 6:27 am

Dear developers,

I have found that "onset [100 plus]" of a note affects onset of all notes of its chord. Is it intended?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, there's no such thing as an onset of a note in bach, the onset belongs to the whole chords. If you want different notes to have different onsets, they must be in different chords. See the #explodechords message, if you need to do that.

P.S.: onset [100 plus] is an old syntax. You may want to use "onset = onset + 100", that's more general.
