Hello there, bach newbie here!
I'm trying to work through the OM/PWGL examples in the book The Musical Fundamentals of Computer Assisted Composition by Örjan Sandred. The first few examples went fine, but now I'm stuck trying to add up notes together to create a chord (I'm using the bach.roll object). I've tried using the bach.dx2x and bach.join objects but the notes always seem to add up horizontally instead of vertically. How can I recreate these patches? Here are the excercises from the book:
page 82
page 83a
page 83b
Sincerely!

Re: Calculating chords and adding notes together vertically
Hi, I suspect that your issue is connected to the fact that in bach there is one more level of parenthesis for each VOICE, because bach.roll is also a multivoice object. Try to throw in a [bach.wrap 1] and see if it helps

Dear Daniel,
You were right, it had to do with [bach.wrap] (and potentially [bach.flat]). I found multiple solutions for all 3 examples, thanks!
