Hello Bachers (ouch!),

I noticed that when I have a busy roll the playback slows down. If I hide the roll the playback is fine. What I do when I want to play the roll is I play it while the window is hidden, i.e. minimized. I was wondering if there is a way to avoid this by for instance prevent the roll from highlighting the chords as it plays them which I think is the source of the problem.

look up the #realtime message on the docs, also look at the real-time stories tutorial.
Tldr: send a [real-time 1] to optimize playback, and be sure to keep overdrive on.
