Something with dynamics missing

This is for bach.roll, might as well be important for bach.score.
I have a note which should lets say from ff to pp, followed by a note subito fff. At the moment I attach ff> to the first note and ppfff to the second. That does not look nice. I would like to set the first note to ff>pp also over several notes in between and then set the subito note to "sub fff". At the moment "sub" is ignored as well as the space between "pp fff" which could be another (sort of) solution...
