glue (FR?) slice selected (FR?)

hi!
two things:
- i'd love it if the slice command would have a possibility to slice only selected content. "slice selected" etc.
- i'm looking for the easiest way to undo slices made earlier. i could use a "glue" command which would glue back all notes which have a previous note's tail exactly at the same onset and pitch (and velocity?) as the note itself. or is there an existing easy solution?
what do you think?
