hello,
i've recently got a (used) macbook which has max 7.0 installed.
although bach says it needs version 7.0.1, i tried running bach (and cage) and it seems ok for now.
daniele, what problems will i find with 7.0 ?

7.0.0 was the brand new Max 7 release, and I am positive there were some compatibility issues with some minor bach aspects.
If I am not mistaken, you should not encounter any major issue, only some minor quirks (as far as some doc, colors and attributes stuff is concerned).
However, there might have been even bigger quirks - which I have totally forgotten (Andrea can maybe also drop a word, in case I'm forgetting something important)
But is there a reason why you don't want to upgrade to 7.1?

Indeed, there was a major problem with Max 7.0.0: opening the format palette on a bach object crashed Max. If I remember correctly, this has been fixed with Max 7.0.1.

not a problem, it's just that i still need to decide if i'd stick to my pc version or change to mac. after 25 years of pc, habits are difficult to change...
