hello listers,
i'm trying bach, so great this kind of tool finally showed up, something more than one has been dreaming about. congrats to the developers!.
i'm going through the tutorials and i've found that most patches are not sounding (midi). i've checked my system but other patches, including some pertaining to bach (and cage) are working ok. so it must be something i cannot see. any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, and welcome!
It sounds like a general (or at least Max related) MIDI problem on your machine. I'm no MIDI expert, especially under Windows, but if you happen to have this issue with standard Max objects like noteout, you might want to write in the cycling74 forum...
