bach.transcribe with slots to manage pitchbend

Post by tremblap » Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:34 am

Hello!

I'm working on a sort of auto transcribe and [bach.transcribe] is great for onsets and durations but I'd like to add 2 things in "real-time": pitch bend and timbral technique (both of which I receive from my source in real-time)

In bach.transcribe help, the slot message seems to record to the selected object's slot, right? I wonder how I could get bach.transcribe to write it to the last input note? I might be asking too much here, but hey, let me know!

Just to self-document a bit - I manage to select just the last monophonic element entered ( [clearselection, sel note 1 -1 -1] ) and got my incantation right ( [ slotinfo [ 1 [ temporalmode milliseconds ] [ type function] [ range -1200. 1200 ] [ background 1 ] ] ] ) so that works for pitchbend.

Now, the challenge to assign an annotation in real-time to slot 20...

Hello PA! Glad to hear from you.
Not sure if you still need something, but feel free to contact me in case.
(The helpfile of bach.transcribe also has two last tabs dedicated to manage slot data.)

Best,
d
