The fact is that roll and score don't have the concept of "line", since everything is in a scroll-view. Thus I wouldn't know how you can get the "end measure" information... If you need to change the spacing (and you don't do it 10000 times per second...) I strongly suggest to use spacingparameter, which was designed for that. So if you feel that the spacing is too narrow, you might simply want to increase the parameter - or vice versa if the spacing is too wide.
