Re: quantisation with more than one time signature

Yes, you should simply put them in the #measureinfo+syntax <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 2082.3oc6bksbihCE8YmuBW7bRGIw9717c3JkKErbLciAFPNKSWy+9nEvALB ufikSaT5pM1Z8dO5v09Bbzuuah0yYuSJsl9WSmMcxjee2jIhh3ELo5ySrVie OJAWJZl0ZRYI9Eh08x5nj2ohx+mM3TZ7+tshrMzDBk9QNQN5VVSepppbLMZU b5KyKHQ...

Re: peaks (partial tracking)

Hello. If you want every note in a different voice, you can create a little patch that does that, I'll copy a starting point here below. If you want instead to force monophony, you can send a message such as "sel all, poly 10 @reassign 1" to bach.roll to split into 10 monophonic voices. Hope this he...

Hello, I understand, thanks for the suggestion.
I'll talk to Andrea and we'll try to think about it.

Re: score cosmetics

Hello, there's no option for any of this, but they should be both codable in patch (which is the best way to go, in my opinion, given you need something quite specific, such as a given distance as threshold). There's a "poly" message that allows handling polyphony, but it currently works only for ba...

Re: copy markers

From message:
sel markers, copy
And then in the target roll:
paste

Otherwise you can select them by hand (their selection point is their upper tip) and Cmd+C/Ctrl+C then Cmd+V/Ctrl+V on the target roll.

Re: midi export from bach.roll

If you want a workaround for now, you may define a tempo marker at the beginning of the roll with the tempo value you desire. (See #marker+roles in the help center)

Re: dada.cartesian where query size limitation

I have bad news for you... If I run your example in the debugger, I get this in the console: 2023-06-02 23:09:43.694936+0200 Max[33050:5855964] DB: Query Overrun! I am using cycling '74 db_query() API function. I do not know exactly what this means, but I suspect this may be an undocumented, hard li...

Re: peaks (partial tracking)

Hello, you may want to have a look at the "Audio Transcription" example in the examples folder (or in the examples tab of the overview). Does it work for your case?

Best,
Daniele

Re: Is there a way to correctly playback a score as MIDI?

Hello, the message below [bach.ezmidiplay] shows the correct behavior to me (just for reference, I'm using the latest version of bach, but I guess that'll be the same for earlier ones). If this is the case for you as well, the issue is somewhere below, hence bach is not involved. If the issue is tha...

Re: Is there a way to correctly playback a score as MIDI?

Yes, it does. Have a look inside, double click on it, you'll see a makenote and a noteout. They are the ones taking care of midi stuff, it's standard Max. Also, the MIDI messages (noteoffs included) are output from its outlet, if I remember correctly. If you have something that doesn't work, please ...
