bach.ezmidiplay and midi export

I try to get the pitchbend information out of a bach.roll and failed to do so. The exportmidi command seems to ignore my glides as well. Looking at the bach.ezmidiplay patch, its not ideal. Other than xbendout, bendout has only 7-bit resolution, and I would have to set noteout and bendouts ports som...

Re: Simple question hard to find the answer...

Thanks, I guess I can do that with any property?
Don't know why I missed that, maybe the docs are just overwhelming...

Simple question hard to find the answer...

I simply need to retrieve the part names of a bach.roll after I read the .lll from disk...
I do find the places in the docs how I set it, but can't find how to retrieve the data... Of course this applies to all common score or voice data which is not specific to note events...

thanks for any help...

Re: crash on attribute selection of bach.roll

Hi, thanks for notifying. Can't reproduce here (can anyone else reproduce it?): could be because we have already fixed it, but I suspect that it has something to do with bach installation, given your weird "EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL)" crash log... Do you have bach objects hanging around in your s...

Re: how to add note by note with messages into bach.score

Thanks for the hints. I might as well stick with bach.roll and then quantize it into a bach.score (though there isn't much to "quantize"...)

how to add note by note with messages into bach.score

This is a seemingly stupid question, but I could not find a simple command like the addchord for bach.roll. Rereading the tutorials and searching the docs did not get me any further. All the examples dump a lot of information at once into bach.score. I want to do it one by one. I mean just clicking ...

a more severe crash with bach.score

I am about to replace my bach.roll with a bach.score. But when hiding voices in presentation mode, it seems to change the size of the object. and on showing all again Max crashed. Unfortunately I can't load my patch again, which I had saved just before. It now crashes Max on load... Maybe you could ...
