Re: Disappearing slot messages
I do not know if it is really related, but I feel it stems from something similar: lyrics slot is wiped in all overtyped chords on adding new measures by a message. It is not wiped on copied or otherwise input notes example: <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 1796.3oc6aszaiaCD9b7uBBc...

Re: crash: subscore+marker
Actually, it happens in more cases than that. I have multiple markers in the score with 7 voices. even when I do subscore of one voice from 3 to 6 (in 4 there is a marker attached to the start of the bar) it crashes, while the score has 40 bars for example.

Re: crash: subscore+marker
The crash occurs when I include the last OR the first measure in the subscore. I will then try make it in two passes, with one omitting the first and last bar, but with markers.

Re: negative noteindex (f.eg. highest note)
Without checking the patcher, as I am unable to open it - I am under the impression that with sel note message I cannot select all highest notes in a passage. I need to determine the chord number, so I would need to query all chords sequentially. It would be great if I am mistaken. Nikola Kołodziejc...

negative noteindex (f.eg. highest note)
Is it possible to select the highest note in the chord without knowing the noteindex of the note?
Right now I can select the lowest note (noteindex 1) but I don’t know how to select the highest, because the chord can have different number of notes.
Thank You again,

Adding chords/notes via messages
Good evening! Is there a method of linear-editing-style appending note/chord data to the bach.score via messages? In a manner similar to: [addchord 1/2 7200 6800 6000] possibly with a timepoint syntax to place it (or even better, with a linear editing style playhead which places chords and moves for...

crash: subscore+marker

Re: Root of a chord (in Jazz voicings)
Finding root for a jazz chord, if this analysis is made thoroughly will yeld You at least 10 results, with 10 different chords, with maybe 3 or 4 strong solutions, 4 weaker and 2 or 3 unlikely solutions. There will always be the element of personal style, taste and context. Context would need some k...
