extended Contimbre playback

Hi guys, for some time now I've been using the Contimbre-library to create "maquettes" of my composition-sketches. If you don't know this library, it's well worth checking out: it's not super-expensive, made in Max (bypassing midi-limitation) and fully capable of microtonal & glissandi-playback, as ...

Re: Measure-info too long for max-message

Hi Daniele,

bach.reg was the perfect solution!
Thanks so much, everything working now!

All the best,
Joost

Measure-info too long for max-message

Hi guys, I'm a bit stuck.. I have made somewhat complex quantisation of a short fragment, only one voice. Since it contains quite some tempo-changes, it's already a decent llll. Now, what I want to do, is to take it's measure-info, and 'apply' it to a pre-formatted ensemble-score-template (a bach-sc...

Re: nested(?) metascores

Thanks for the info, Daniele!
I will post some patches here when they work more or less decently :-)
All the best!

nested(?) metascores

Hello Daniele & Andrea, I'm making my first steps into the mysterious, but magnificent cage.meta-world... Trying to create some first 'process'-patches (I love this concept, btw!!) I was wondering whether you implemented the possibility of nesting meta-engines? As in: "main patch contains metascore ...

Max 8

Hi guys,

just wanted to let you know that I've upgraded to Max8 and most of my patches seem to work without any problem/bugs...
But I've only used it for about 2 weeks.. I'll post updates when some problem would occur!
All the best,

Joost

Re: recursive problem

Thanks Daniele!! A 'bach.recurser'... oh boy.. (moving over-excitedly in my chair)... Santa Claus is generous this year, it seems :) Seriously, recursion is something I use very often, and even in Openmusic it can be difficult to avoid the stack-overflow-thingy... Thank you again for so much wonderf...

recursive problem

Hi guys, I have a little crash-problem: I'm trying to write a patch that creates a series, based on a mathematical expression (eg. +1, +2 +5, etc. like Fibonacci, or others), and taking advantage of the fact that with bach.expr you can alter the expression itself. Now, it should work recursively, so...

Re: bach.unpacknote & midichannels

Hi Daniele, I sent the crash-log trough an email to the info-mail from bachproject; you should find it there in the attachment. I tried to upload it here as an attachment, but all formats were rejected, I tried txt, rtf, and pdf... I hope you'll find it. No idea what could be causing this. I tried M...

Re: bach.unpacknote & midichannels

Hi Daniele,

thanks so much for all the help. Your last example crashes when I try to copy-paste from clipboard. No idea what causes that. I'm still on Bach 0.7.8 (the one you get from the Cycling Package Manager) and OSX Yosemite...
