As in subject: what is the preferred way to put slurs into bach musical structures? I know bach.{roll, score} cannot display slurs (yet – I hope), but I want to describe this element of notation somehow.

more objects for dealing with dict-like lllls?
Hi, we have bach.pack and bach.keys for creating and retrieving data from dict-like lllls. Do you have some plans to implement object(s) transform such structured lllls? Particularly a way to change value in place for given key and remove key from lllls. I have made such an abstraction (attached), b...

bach.encode / bach.decode deprecated?
I heavily use objects mentioned in subject for transmitting lllls over network. If they are deprecated and are to disappear, what do you propose to use to reliably send (possibly big) lllls?

Re: Create Continuous Meters and Onsets
To display all measures you have to collect all data somehow. Here the point is proper llll formatting. I have no idea regarding subdivisions. hth <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 2673.3oc6cs0bihiE94jeETt1G1opztzcIlG1Z1eG6tUJrQNgtwfK.mKyTy+ 8URfM3DAHeSwzUmo53wBAbNemqR5Hk+596lsH+MY4...

Re: bach.keys counterpart?
I needed this kind of object so I did it myself, but it could be quite heavy, esp. on patcher loading. I'm looking forward for a proper bach object!

bach.keys counterpart?
what is the best way to make dictionary-like structure with lllls? something like dict.pack. my way (many bach.appends, hard to maintain): <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 523.3oc0VssTCCBD84juBFdt1Axs15S0uCGGGZB1RmDRFfZa0w+c4RRM5Dsn iF0WRBKKrmyIKK6igAvU0GnRH3Rv0fffGCCBrlLFBZGG.qHGx...

Re: [bug?] bach.args and encapsulation
Hi again ;) what you report is true, unfortunately this is how Max works, and we don't have much control over it. bach.args mimics patcherargs, and patcherargs has the very same issue. It happens very often, at least to me, even with standard max abstractions, that they no longer work after encapsu...

[bug?] bach.args and encapsulation
bach.args after being encapsulated (or de-encapsulated) behaves oddly – doesn't pass incoming messages. After reopening patcher bach.args works correctly. See below.Nasty thing, bach.argses are everywhere. I spend quite a bit time today looking around why some stuff which should obviously work doesn...

accessing lllls in many places in patcher
what is the best way to achieve a kind of [value] or [pv] for bach lllls? I know about bach.shelf, but for this usage it seems an overkill. Ideally it would be something like named bach.reg. Any pointers? here my unsatisfactory solution: <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 776.3oc0Wss...
