score cosmetics
I'm using bach.score in Ableton Live (M4L) to generate the score from MIDI clips. It works great but from my experience with Logic Pro I find the following options useful. 1. Interpretation (simplifying rests) For example, a bar <1/16 note, 1/16 rest, 1/8 rest, 1/4 rest, 1/2 note> would be simplifie...

midi export from bach.roll
To avoid quantizations I've tried using bach.roll for midi export.
But it seems that bach.roll exports all midi files with tempo 60 bpm
which is in contrast to the usual default tempo 120 bpm.
Why is that and can it be changed by the user?

Re: MIDI export issue
Here is an example patch to reproduce the issue. Opening the exported MIDI file in Live and GarageBand both show the note cut at the barline. <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 1340.3oc6as0aipCD94zeEHdpQpWrMWBruc9cbzpHGvow6ZrQfoM8rZ+uerM PBDbZX6lFkhZhBF7046alwYfL4W2LyckXKoz04aN+qyrY+...

Re: MIDI export issue
Not critical at the moment. For score export I prefer XML anyway.
And if needed it can easily be converted to MIDI with some 3rd party app.
Thanks again for your great Bach package.

MIDI export issue
I have a score with two 8th notes on the last beat of a 4/4 bar, and the second 8th note is extended into the next bar by a half note. But on MIDI export the second 8th note is cut off at the bar line. In contrast, XML export works correctly.

bach in M4L
I'm trying to use bach in an M4L device to record midi notes with bach.roll and create a score after recording. In general it works well, but sometimes Live hangs when sending the quantize message and I have to force quit. Also, I've noticed that when using multiple instances of the device in a Live...
