Re: video-score_with_bach

You can use custom fonts for notation (there is a list of supported fonts, see #fonts in the help center), you can use also non supported fonts for the notehead by using slot linkage. You cannot put graphics directly (not yet...), but you can draw them on a transparent [lcd] (or bpatcher) put over t...

Re: Disappearing slot messages

Hi, if I open your patch on my machine and put the "die" syllable by hand (or the "col" syllable), then save, everything is correctly saved with the patch. Therefore I think that the issue is already solved for the forthcoming release, along with other small word-extension quirks. (As usual, prerele...

Re: Change clef

No, key or clef changes in the middle of a score are not possible at the current stage.

Re: Find and replace/transform/randomize in llll

Hi Chris, One way is to do that "by hand", as you probably already do (bach.find, bach.keys, bach.locate, etc.). However, your best bet is to use bach.eval, with the brand new feature of key retrieving (e.g. $l1.'amp') and key replacing (e.g. $l1.'amp' = $l1.'whatever' + 20). I think this feature is...

Re: Font issues in Windows

Hi guys, just to let you know that we have solved the windows issues, there is now a working Patreon prerelease.

(and now we are attacking other Catalina issues that came up, given that Apple has decided to change all the authoring system... This 0.8.1 release is becoming a nightmare!!! :)

Re: Non real-time driver and [bach.roll]?

Non-real-time driver in Max, from my experience, is a bit weird... If you néed an offline dump for bach.roll, you can send a "play offline" message (useful for off line rendering). If you need to speed up playback by some factor, use the setclock message with a multipliative clock. See #play+offline...

Re: Second 'lyrics' slot and background (plus 'show')

Hi, you can have lyrics and annotations, if that is what you are looking for. THere's a default annotation slot mapped on the 't' key, so you can try that out if that fits your needs! You can offset the background text slots via the @bgslottextshift attribute. I totally understand your point on the ...

Re: Cage tutorials are not propery linked

Hi Hans, and first of all thanks for becoming a patron! As far as the help center is concerned, it is actually an elaborate system of filtering done via patching (it's a bpatcher, you can open it). It's not too slow on my machine, but I am not surprised that it is a bit slower than before, since the...

Re: Cage tutorials are not propery linked

Hi, thanks. We were aware of that bug with newer versions of Max. We have already solved it, it'll be in the next release (it's already solved for the Patreon prerelease).

Thanks for pointing this out, in any case!
