Re: Error in exporting score or roll to Open Music or PWGL

Hi Fabio, can you send us (even privately at info at bachproject dot net) an example of bach.roll or bach.score that you cannot manage to export to OpenMusic? Glad to hear that PWGL import/export export work fine.

I have fixed the parenthesis export for next release.

Re: Error in exporting score or roll to Open Music or PWGL

Hi, this could very well be a bug slipped in in bach 0.8, when we switched to square brackets. As a matter of fact, I assume OM expects indeed round brackets. Can you please open the file with any text editor and do a search and replace? Search for "[" and replace it with "(", then search for "]" an...

Re: markov analysis of harmonies?

Hi, we will post on Patreon in the next two weeks some patches we built for the Ariane# project in Montbéliard some time ago. One of them will do what you want in one specific way (there are multiple ways you can tackle the problem, of course). The patches will be open to everyone at least for two m...

Open access to Patreon content for coronavirus crisis

Dear friends, we hope you’re all fine in these difficult times. We are; and, although our contribution can only be minimal, we would like to give something hopefully useful and fun to all the community of bach users. So, we shall make all the video tutorials of our Patreon page freely available for ...

Hi,

are you using bach 0.8.1? If so, in principle, you should NOT need do anything special and standalones should work out of the box...

Not directly, but you can certainly do something like this by overlaying a [lcd] object: <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 1507.3oc6assbihCD8Y6uBJp8QuoPf4h221uioR4RFjMZFYIJgH1dmZ92WcA rAiHiCiSxjLDWw.sDp69niZnwzee9L2MrinRWm+w4KNyl884yloEoDLq93Yt 6gGSIvRc2bonCrMe0cgoIA5nPKdCLM+gBNp.Qy...

Re: midi tempomap

Hi Robin, in principle, tempi in MIDI files should be imported as tempo markers in bach.roll. If tempo and time signatures are tagged properly in the MIDI file, you should then be able to quantize the things via bach.quantize. Can you send me (even privately) a MIDI file/patch showing the issue? Bes...

Re: default length of chord in Bach.roll

Not at the moment, although you may do something like this, which of course comes with is own set of drawbacks (depending on how you want to interact with the bach.roll). Good feature request for the future. <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 1398.3oc6a0saipCD95jmBDW2SksALjU5bw44nppx...

Yes, the issue should be solved.
Have you installed the latest version (0.8.1) from the package manager?
