[bach.quantize] bug with G8vb clef

Post by pedrnun » Sun Mar 25, 2018 5:23 pm

Hi,

Small bug report: when using [bach.quantize] with a G8vb clef in [bach.roll], the clef disappears from [bach.score].

In [bach.score]’s inspector, this is what shows up in clefs: `g8vb
I’m aware the ` is bach’s escape character but I guess it’s not supposed to be there.

Best,
Pedro

Hi Pedro,

yes, that's a bug, we'll fix it for next release.
This is indeed a new issue, stemming from a bug slipped into the brand new support for pitches: if you write G8vb, currently there's an ambiguity with the G at the 8th octave minus 7/8 tone. Bug G8vb should not be parsed as a pitch, only Gvb8 or Gbv8 should.

Thank you for reporting.
