I have to reinstall bach daily for it to work, switching between 0.7.8 and 0.7.9, installed through the Package Manager.
I am running Max 7.3.4 on OSX.13.3
When I open my patch, it doesn't recognise the bach object and instead shows as a juibogus object.
Any ideas what causes this issue?
As I said, when I reinstall it all works fine.

Hi, I am quite clueless, never heard of this.
A Max package is just a folder in the Max packages location. What if you delete "bach" manually and download bach from our website (http://www.bachproject.net/dl/) and NOT from the Package Manager? Copy the folder inside the packages folder, and that's it.
Be sure not to leave anything bach-ish anywhere else (e.g. never copy externals manually in other locations, etc.).
If the bach folder is properly downloaded and inside the packages folder, and Max still does not recognize the bach objects, then this really looks like a Max issue...
