bach.quantize time signature question

Post by fiboribo » Fri Dec 29, 2017 2:02 pm

Hello,

Assuming I create a score in bach.roll with no particular time signature in mind, is it possible to tell bach.quantize to generate time signatures based on markers but without having to specify the time signature value in each marker and retaining the same tempo throughout? That is, could I just put markers in places where I would like the measure to begin (and therefore end), and the result would be a score with varying time time signatures, the value of which is calculated based on the size of the resulting measures. An option to include/exclude mixed and irrational time signatures would be just amazing!

Thanks,

Federico

Hi,
no, that is not possible, but it's a good feature request.
