join chords?

Post by ernopolo » Sun Mar 26, 2017 6:45 pm

Hi there.

Could you suggest me a way to join chords in bach.roll which are in the same voice and has the same onset?

then i guess chord-level slot and other info must go to note-level, or stay on chord level and be merged...hm.

Wouldn't the #merge command work for you?

Thanks, that's great - but I need to preserve info coded in names and slots.
Actually, my most important goal with merging here would be to clean up accidental collisions and notehead collisions for readablity. hm, but this means i can do this step at the very end of the composition process - then i won't need slots and anything any longer. :)

so yes! #merge rules.

This question fits here:

is there a way to add notes to selected chords via message?
i guess i should go for dumpselection, than addchord.

I'd say addchord and then merge...
